Recalled dog foods had up to 70 times intended vitamin D

On December 3, the F.D.A. has issued a warning to consumers about the numerous dog food recalls related to excessive levels of vitamin D.

On December 3, the United States Food and Drug Administration issued a warning to consumers about numerous dog food recalls related to excessive levels of vitamin D. Sunshine Mills, a co-packer or contract manufacturer, seems to have produced all the recalled dog foods, although the pet foods were marketed under different names.
